General Information:
The Top Baby Contest is FREE and open to entrants between 0-3 years
old.
The parent, grandparent or guardian of the child must be the person
submitting the photo.
Photos are divided into *4* Age Divisions; 0-6 mos. or 7-12 mos. or
13-20 mos. or 21-36 mos. Each division winner receives a prize.
Your child's photo can
also be included in ONE of 3 sub categories: Top Eyes,
Top Smile, Top Personality.
In
the case of special theme contests, the photos will be divided into
age groups depending on the number of entries.
Judging:
Contest runs from the 1st of the month until the 15th of the following
month (approximately 6 weeks).
We will accept the 1st 25 (or so) photos in each age group for the
contest.
Judging of the "Top Baby" award is conducted fairly by a panel of
judges with no discrimination towards sex, race, or age.
Babies are not judged against each other, but by using a rating
system. The Judges submit their top 5 choices, rated from 1 to 5.
Babies are given points for the spots:
#1 = 5 Points
#2 = 4 Points
#3 = 3 Points
#4 = 2 Points
#5 = 1 Point
The child with the most combined points is the winner of the "Top
Baby" Contest for that month. The judges decisions are final.
The voting on the sub category groups (Top Smile, Eyes & Personality)
is done by visitors to the site. One vote per day, per category, per
person, per IP, is accepted. The baby in each category with
the most votes (or highest percentage), wins.
If your child wins, they can enter in future contests but a different
photo must be used.
Photo Requirements:
Photos must correspond with the child's current age.
No Make up allowed. No nudity. Babies must be covered from their waist
down.
I hold the right to not post any photo that I deem inappropriate.
Contestants retain ownership of their photos.
Only one baby per photo will be considered for judging and one photo
PER baby.
No professional photos will be accepted.
Mailed photos are not being accepted right now.
Emailed photos will be accepted if they are in good quality (in .jpg format) under 75kb (no
zipped files please).
I have the right to crop and/or resize photo images as needed. (To
speed up load time, most photos are cropped to 150 pixels tall.)
A Few Last Things:
If a selected winner does not respond to the notification of their
win, via letter or email, within 10 days of the contest decision, the
prizes will be forfeited.
Winners in the TopBabyPhotos.com contest are limited to United States and
Canada only. (Depending on the prize sponsor, Canadian winners may be
responsible for additional shipping fees on prizes won.) Entries will
be accepted from outside the USA and Canada, but due to shipping
costs, prizes will not be awarded. Graphic awards WILL be sent.
I will not tolerate any baby bashing. Please do not send email of this
nature. This contest is for entertainment purposes only. Let's keep it
FUN!!
TopBabyPhotos.com employees, judges and affiliates are not eligible to
participate in any contest.
Parent/Guardian of winners authorize TopBabyPhotos.com to publish their
name (first name and first initial of the last name) and photo.
Prizes are outlined on the Sponsors Page and taxes on any awards given
are winners responsibility.
Additional shipping fees
on prizes being sent outside the United States may be the
responsibility of the winner.
All entries will
automatically be signed up for our newsletter to keep you posted on
new contests and winner selections.
This contest is void where prohibited by law.
